Leotard – Any color or style (we prefer basic black).
Tights or Leggings – Any color (we prefer pink tights for ballet) .
Ballet Slippers – (leather only) Girls: pink only / Boys: black only. Ballet shoes should fit snugly with NO GROWING ROOM).
Tap Shoes or Jazz Shoes – Black only; should fit like a street shoe.
Hip Hop Sneakers- should be for dance class only and not school shoes.
STUDENTS SHOULD NOT WEAR DANCE SHOES TO OR FROM THE STUDIO.
DRESS CODE & BEHAVIOR DRESS CODE: ALL STUDENT'S HAIR MUST BE NEAT AND OFF THE FACE AT ALL TIMES. DANCE SHOES MAY NOT BE WORN ON THE STREET. STREET SHOES MAY NOT BE WORN ON THE DANCE FLOORS. COVER-UPS SHOULD BE WORN TO & FROM THE STUDIO.
YOUNG CHILDREN'S COMBINATION CLASSES: Hair up in a bun or other secure style. Any color leotard and tights (Skirts & Tutus OK). Pink ballet shoes. Black tap or jazz shoes. Ballet slippers should fit snugly. 1 HOUR BALLET CLASSES: Hair up in a bun or other secure style. Solid color leotard-any solid color (optional matching ballet skirt.) Snug shirts or bike shorts are OK, if not baggy. Pink ballet shoes. Tights or leggings. Please, NO baggy t-shirts, shorts, jazz pants. Form fitting warm-ups are acceptable if it's cold. TAP, HIP-HOP, JAZZ, OR LYRICAL CLASSES: Hair up off the neck. Black jazz or tap shoes. Jazz sneakers for hip-hop. If you're wearing athletic shoes for hip-hop, they must be shoes that you wear just for that class and not dirty shoes that you wear to school. Form fitting leotards or t-shirts. Tights, jazz pants, capri pants, or bike shorts. STREET CLOTHES SUCH AS JEANS & TENNIS SHOES ARE NOT PERMITTED. Cell phones need to be turned off or set to silent mode.
